Rules of Engagement

All operators entering the UCTF theater are expected to conduct themselves with discipline. The objective is to recover flags, gather intelligence, and outmaneuver rival teams without compromising the integrity of the mission space.

Conduct Directive

Operator Behavior

  • Treat all teams, staff channels, and shared systems with respect. Disruption of communications or hostile conduct toward other operators is not authorized.
  • Remain within the designated mission environment. Targets outside the event theater are off-limits unless explicitly marked as part of the operation.
  • Do not interfere with platform availability, challenge deployment, or scoreboard integrity through sabotage, flooding, or service disruption.
Flag Handling

Intelligence Recovery

  • Flags are to be obtained through technical success inside the assigned sectors. Guessing, abusing unintended platform behavior, or extracting flags from non-challenge systems is outside mission parameters.
  • Each team secures and submits its own recovered intelligence. Unauthorized sharing of live flags or direct solution handoff between competing teams is prohibited.
  • If a challenge appears compromised, unstable, or exposed in a way that bypasses its intended objective, report it through command channels instead of exploiting it further.
Support Channel

Field Reports

If you encounter corrupted telemetry, unreachable infrastructure, or challenge behavior that prevents legitimate progress, transmit a clear report to event command. Include the affected sector, observed symptoms, and any steps already taken so response teams can act without delay.

Enforcement Notice

Command Authority

Command reserves the right to adjust challenge scoring, suspend compromised sectors, or remove operators from the theater if mission protocols are ignored. Final judgment on disputed actions remains with event command to preserve operational integrity for all teams in the field.
